Azure Data Platform Architect
The main responsibilities:
In this role, you will lead architecture and design across multiple projects, define enterprise standards, and guide global teams in delivering scalable Azure cloud, hybrid, and data platform solutions. You will ensure alignment with security, data governance, performance, and cost requirements while overseeing DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and integrations across APIs and data platforms. Additionally, you will drive the implementation of modern data architectures, including Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Data Lakehouse solutions, and ETL/ELT processes, while managing architectural risks and mentoring engineering teams.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional IT experience, with a strong focus on cloud architecture, particularly enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure environments, networking, identity management, and security.
- Strong background in Data Engineering, including ETL/ELT processes, Azure Data Factory, SQL, and Python.
- Hands-on experience with modern data platforms and technologies, such as Azure Databricks, Unity Catalog, Data Lakehouse, Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg, and UniForm.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, APIs, messaging systems, and data integration.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Power BI, and PostgreSQL.
- Solid experience in solution architecture design, technical documentation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving.
- Excellent command of English.
